His strength is based on his unique experiences in diversified fields. He has double masters in engineering (Waseda) and social science (LSE), and has been working for private companies as well as governmental agencies. He is also an advisor for the entrepreneur supporting organization established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan. Jamal Al-Salah, Jordan
As background Jamal Al Salah is a holder of Msc. in Civil Engineering, the field he worked in until 1989. Then changed direction to Management. After several intensive training courses, he started in 1991 working as Moderator of planning workshops, and training other colleagues on moderation , Project Planning and guiding workshops in participatory approaches. In January 1996 he officially started an own private establishment (INTERACTION) in Amman. Until todate he conducted a total of 280 assignments of planning, training , M&E, PRA and others in the Middle East and Africa for various development organizations and international donors, private and public institutions.
Henning Karcher, Philippines
Henning Karcher is a development specialist with a focus on community organisation, decentralization, aid coordination and disaster preparedness. For over 25 years he worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Since 2003 he has been working as Consultant on development issues for clients in Asia and Europe. Henning sees development as a change management process and applies a range of change management tools to his work with a preference for Appreciative Inquiry (AI). His clients have included UNDP, GTZ, IFAD and a range of governments in Asia and Europe. Currently he is working as consultant to the Community Centered SustainableDevelopment Programme (CCSDP) in four countries of the South Pacific.
Mohammed Jamil, UAE
Over the past 10 years Mohamad Jamil has developed experience in adapting a cultural sensitive approach in training and facilitation. He successfully embarked on a diverse scale of assignments that included company retreats, conferences, leadership camps and organizational development projects. Mohamad is currently residing in the Dubai (UAE) and serving as a regional training specialist for a group of companies that specializing in distribution, retail and support services. Of his thematic projects is the establishment of a retail training academy in Saudi Arabia.
